Charged Up!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have a new app in the works!  It is called charged up and is a way to study the common charges on elements and radicals.  I made this for my chemistry class, because they were all having a tough time memorizing all the charges.  It consists of a printable list of elements and radicals, a searchable list of elements and radicals, and then a cool game.  In the game you need to just around a platform style game and collect the good charges while avoiding the bad charges.  I made it with iOS7 and sprite kit.  Very cool stuff!  But I wanted to give a shout out to some independent artists that I have gotten some sound effects from.  I tried to make some of my own, but it just didn't work.  So one resource I used was called Freesound.org.  The great boing sound that I used for the jumping was from an artist named Juskidink.  A link to their page is here.   Feel free to stop by and check out their awesome work!  Also, I used a nice background song by an artists named Vicarelli Fillippo all the way from Italy!  His background song called Stable Boy sets the mood for my game.  Just go to www.playonloop.com and search for Stable Boy.

I have not uploaded to the app store yet, but I have a couple of things to get in order before I do.  But hopefully I will do that in the next week or so.

  1. There have been some concerns about the little red triangle figure moving to quickly. Just remember to use slight movements of your phone. Only tilt it slightly to get the character to move, not necessary to make wild movements.
